Sometimes I find myself spending far too much time on Instagram—it can be addictive, especially if you have a lot of different interests. The algorithm sometimes becomes so laser focused on what you're viewing at any given moment, it will stop showing you posts in as wide a variety as you would like.
I find I get caught up in political posts and posts about babies and dogs. Not that I mind those topics, but, among other things, I appreciate art. And it keeps disappearing from my feed. So sometimes I take a few extra steps to get back to the art sites I follow, and I've decided to occasionally bring more attention to some of the best ones.
So take a look above at the work of Piak Anastasiia @pencil_art1988, an amazing young Russian sketch artist. (Her name is probably Anastasiia Piak, but I'm listing her as she lists herself online.)
She also has a YouTube channel at YouTube.com/@pencil_art1988. She has several videos on her channel that show her creating her beautiful drawings. I don’t understand a word she’s saying, but her sketches are simply stunning. I encourage you to swing by her IG page or her YouTube channel and enjoy her God-given talent.
